Beethoven Chorus

New Voices to Croon Old Favorites

The Beethoven Chorus, which sang at Bob Richardson’s memorial service, is seeking retired men who like to sing. Despite its title, the chorus sings the old stand-bys, songs that the seniors love. Our current repertoire includes, for example, Stout Hearted Men, There Is Nothin’ Like A Dame, In The Still of The Night, and Shenandoah…and many others as well. Rehearsals and concerts are always in the day time, from early September to late June. We sing primarily at Senior Centers and nursing facilities. Bob Richardson was the conductor for seven years (and recruited Dave Sherman and John Crowley). Pawel Jura plays and conducts when our regular conductor is playing concerts in England. Talk to Dave Sherman or John Crowley. We find it a wonderful experience! Or call the office at 860-646-5151.
