The Public is invited to twice daily Puja* ceremonies in the Chapel 8:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M. unless otherwise noted. All events are free with the exception of private Tibetan Medical Consultations and Divinations that require a suggested donation.

Saturday April 28

Compassion Mandala Creation and Viewing in Chapel
(no music or loud chanting between 5-9 P.M. due to a concert upstairs)

Sunday April 29

No morning Puja in the Chapel

9:00 and 11:00 A.M. – Morning services will feature a blessing of the children, a speech from the monks’ spiritual leader Geshe Tenzin, and Tibetan chanting and music

10:00 – 10:30 A.M. – Tibetan Chanting and Music  in Sanctuary

12:00 – 12:30 P.M. – Tibetan Chanting and Music in Sanctuary

2:00 – 3:00 P.M. – The Monks will talk to Unitarian Universalist youth in the Sanctuary

Monday, April 30

6:00 – 7:00 P.M. – Tibetan Art Demonstration in Chapel

Tuesday, May 1

7:00 P.M. –  Tibetan Food Preparation Demonstration

Wednesday, May 2

5:00 – 6:30 P.M. – Closing Ceremony in Sanctuary

Thursday, May 3

*What is a Puja?

Puja (literally an offering) is a Meditation Ritual on one of the Bodhisattvas or Buddhas. It is a ceremony in which prayers are offered to the Buddhas to request their blessings or invoke their help.
