We affirm the following as goals for our young people:
To cultivate love, hope, joy, peace, and faith through
caring, sharing, cooperating and learning.
To grow and develop a positive self image. To realize that just as they themselves are persons
of value and importance, so also are all other members of the human race.
To value the religious community through family and personal involvement
in our congregation, our denomination, our society, and our world.
To become responsible toward, and aware of, the interdependent web of all creation
by nurturing each other, the earth, and all life.
To wonder about ultimate reality by developing a sense of religious literacy,
through meaningful religious experiences and the ongoing search for truth.
To ask religious questions and think independently.
To have fun!
