Youth Leader
Debra J. Cottis joined the staff at UUS:E in September 2011 as the Youth Leader. She completed her BA in religion at the Harvard Extension School and is now completing her MDIV at The Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge MA. She has a ministry with GLBTQI youth and their allies at Safe Homes and is involved with a LGBT asylum group, both in Worcester. Prior to pursuing her calling, she worked in the corporate world and owned an importing company in Honolulu, Hawaii. She presents an all-inclusive lay ministry, one that focuses on multiculturalism, loving kindness and the elimination of oppression.
