Humanist Study Group

This ongoing group explores Religious Humanism and its applications to life, both historically and today. Mindful of the recent death of the great secular humanist and world-renowned biologist, Edward O. Wilson, during the winter of 2022, we will be reading Wilson’s In Search of Nature.  This book is a collection of Wilson’s essays published from the 1970s to the 1990s on big questions about nature and human nature. The essays are relatively short and intended (mostly) for a non-scientific audience..

The Humanist Study Group meets on the Third Tuesday of every month at 4:30 (In Zoom through the duration of the pandemic). Watch our regular UUS:E eblasts for login information or contact the UUS:E office at 860-646-5151 or  [email protected]
