Prayer Flags are hung to promote peace, compassion, strength, and wisdom. Tibetans believe the prayers and mantras are blown by the wind to spread good will and compassion. In this class, we will create two no-sew prayer flags, one to keep and one to share with a classmate. All materials will be supplied, though you are welcome to bring small items or scraps of a favorite piece of clothing to attach to the flags.
