Please join us in our continuing conversation about understanding and engaging with people whose political views are in opposition from ours. In our last session Joel Devonshire and Dr. Mark Friedman introduced Non-Violent Communication (NVC). We were encouraged to listen—not to the views—but to the needs of the other person. This perspective opens new opportunities for understanding and connection. At our next session, we’ll recount situations that trigger a reaction in us and discuss these experiences from an NVC perspective.
