You were alone.
It was Thanksgiving,
and the virus kept you
from your family.
Your quiet dinner was
simple –
no turkey,
no cranberry,
nothing in the spirit
of the holiday. Just
some leftover soup.
Because you were
alone.
You will be alone
again. Christmas
is coming as the
virus continues
to explode.
You will be away
from your family
again.
But –
On Christmas Eve
and Christmas Day,
this is what you
have to do:
Prepare a good meal,
and use the good china.
