Free at Last Players

The Free at Last Players are a not-for-profit theater group dedicated to dispelling the myths and misconceptions that surround mental illness. Founded in 1989, the group has performed all over Connecticut and the United States with shows consisting of songs, poems and skits created by the group’s members. The group consists of members who – whether they are mentally ill or not – recognize that every person deserves to be seen as just that: a person with strengths and weaknesses just like anyone else. We warmly welcome the Free at Last Players back to UUS:E. For more information, contact Rev. Josh Pawelek at (860) 646-5151 or [email protected]. A question-and-answer period and reception will follow the performance. A free-will offering will be taken.
