This event is free and open to the public. In addition to this 38 ­minute movie, there will be discussion and Q&A about bill 668, which would allow aid-in-dying in Connecticut and will be before the State Legislature early in 2015.

Refreshments will be provided.

Who was Booth Gardner? After two terms as governor of Washington, and in the grip of Parkinson’s Disease, Booth Gardner fought for a ballot initiative that would allow mentally-competent terminally-ill patients to obtain medication to end their lives – if and when they choose.
