The time has come again to consider volunteering for Rebuilding Together (previously known as Christmas in April) which is one of Unitarian Universalist Society: East’s long term community commitments. Rebuilding Together involves painting the home and /or cleaning up the yard of a Manchester household which does not have the financial or physical ability to take care of such things on its own. The event takes place on Saturday, April 27th from about 8:00 A.M. until 12:00 noon. The rain date is Sunday, April 28th. Depending on the condition of the house assigned to UUS:E, some preparation work may be required on Wednesday (April 24th), Thursday (April 25th) and/or Friday (April 26th). An important part of the process is to assemble a group of at least 20 volunteers by March 25th.
