Author Robin Wall Kimmerer has accomplished the difficult task of transcending science and spiritually in her book “Braiding Sweetgrass.” She is both a Native American and a professor of ecology whose thoughtful observations extend our ability to understand the world around us. She gives us a deeper understanding of how to live in a community with our fellow human beings as well as with plants and animals.
