Practice a style of yoga that encourages both physical strengthening and emotional awakening. The intensity of the classes will be appropriate for all levels of experience.
Beginners are especially encouraged to attend. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a yoga mat or beach towel. Classes taught by certified instructors. Two class times are offered.

Tuesday Mornings: Ruth Rempt
Cost: $40 per 8-week session. Walk-ins are welcome at $6 per class. Classes are appropriate for all ability levels.
Yoga is a mind-body-spirit practice that helps to cultivate overall well-being. This class will include poses, breathing techniques, relaxation, and simple meditation practices. The classes are taught in a non-competitive and supportive way—all are welcome!
Jessica DeCarli is a Registered Yoga Teacher who completed her yoga training through YogaFit in 2008. She believes that good health is defined not just by the absence of disease, but by the presence of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. The holistic system of yoga is a wonderful way to promote good health on all levels. Her hope for people who come to her class is for them to leave with a better understanding of yoga, a more relaxed and balanced body and mind, and a deeper insight into themselves.
Ruth Rempt completed Yoga Teacher Training at Samadhi Yoga Studio in Manchester in June of 2014, where she trained under UUS:East member, Anne Falkowski. For several summers, Ruth has also practiced with Anne at Yoga Week at the UU Conference Center at Ferry Beach. Ruth believes yoga is for anyone and everyone and sometimes refers to her classes as “nothing fancy or complicated, just Sweatpants Yoga.” Please join her class any time!
