In an effort to remove the barriers that prevent people with allergies and sensitivities to animals from fully participating in UUS:E programs, meetings and services, no pet animals are allowed anywhere in the building. Service animals are permitted, provided they are in the direct custody of the person with a disability at all times and are wearing an identifying ID tag, harness or vest or an orange-colored leash and collar. Service animals are guide dogs, medical dogs, or other animals individually trained to provide assistance to persons with a disability such as persons with visual, hearing, mobility impairments or other specific hidden disabilities including but not limited to diabetes, seizure or mental health disabilities.
