Plant Swap

June 1st after each service

Calling all gardeners, non-gardeners, and kids of all ages. Members, friends, and visitors – all are welcome. PLANT SWAP! It’s free. It’s fun. It connects us to each other and the interdependent web of life. Join in – bring a plant, and take one home! Perennials such as lily of the valley are very popular, as are flowering houseplants, herbs, patio-size vegetable plants, and native ground cover. One year we had forsythia plants that are now thriving in many yards in our Unitarian Universalist Society: East community.

Please write pertinent info for each plant: Plant name, who brought it, whether it likes shade or sun. We’ll have tables set up for the plants near the front door of the Meetinghouse. Sponsored by UUS:E’s Ecological Landscape Team. Questions? Email uuse153@sbcglobal.net or call 860-646-5151. Passing on garden plants – another way to express love in our community!
